One Music Fest

One Music FestIf you missed the second annual One Music Fest this past Saturday, you really missed something special. The all-day music festival at Atlanta’s Park Tavern featured performances from Tortured Soul, Anthony David, The Foreign Exchange, The Pharcyde, Anoop Desai, The Cool Kids, and Chrisette Michele. One Music Fest also introduced new artist Kyron Leslie, who won the Searching for the One contest.

The festival definitely matched its slogan of Unity through Music with the vibe of a live music party, complete with giveaways, plenty of food from the Park Tavern Crab and Shrimp Festival, and guest appearances from Algebra, Deborah Bond, N’Dea Davenport, and Robert Glasper. The deejays and host Phife Dawg from A Tribe Called Quest kept the crowd moving between performances.

One Music Fest quickly became a Twitter trending topic as attendees shared their delight with what was occasionally referred to as a Soul Woodstock type experience. The event even included a marriage proposal, which was the perfect introduction for Anthony David and Algebra’s performance of 4evermore.

Finding the B-Side has already introduced you to several of the One Music Fest artists but just in case you are not familiar with some of the others, check out the playlist below to hear what you missed.
