ERIMAJ – Conflict of a Man

ErimajIf sound can truly be compared to a feeling, I’d say that Conflict of a Man, the new single from jazz band ERIMAJ, feels as good as soft slippers after a long day. Jamire Williams, a jazz drummer and leader of the group, recorded the single live with fellow band members Corey King, Jason Moran, Vicente Archer, Matt Stevens, and Chris Turner. Whether you’re a jazzhead, a soul music lover, or both, Conflict of a Man has a vibe that you can slide into and immediately feel relaxed.

Phrases like “properly new”, “instant vintage” and “modern visionaries” have been used to describe ERIMAJ and I’m certain that after you listen to Conflict of a Man, you’ll agree that these depictions fit the band very well, much like a comfy slipper. Check it out below and peep ERIMAJ’s 2010 EP, Memo to All, which you can download for free.
