The Truth Volume One by Frank McComb

Frank McComb is one of my favorite jazz artists. If you’ve checked out the group Buckshot LeFonque, you’ll recognize his vocals on their albums. Frank McComb has continued to released good music since his days with that group. The Truth Volume One, which was released in 2003, offers a nice mix of songs, all of which display his talent as a writer, vocalist and pianist. My favorites on the album are Never Letting Go and Whatcha Gonna Do, which features Ledisi on the background vocals. I recently read a review of this album and the writer said “Frank McComb is the truth!” I certainly agree and I urge you to listen to The Truth Volume One soon. It will likely be a little harder to find, but I think it will definitely be worth your search.
